What does a bookkeeper do?
I maintain the weekly, monthly or quarterly accounts for businesses. Ensuring accuracy and efficiency in my service. This means you will have current up to date, accurate figures to see how your business is doing and plan for the future of you business. Without accurate timely and understandable financial data businesses do not know where they can go with their business.

What is the difference between and accountant and a bookkeeper?
Accountants are trained in bookkeeping, but also a number of other areas including more complex Tax Planning and Audit.
I am a bookkeeper with the additional benefit of being able to offer tax services to self employed, sole traders, partnerships and small to medium sized Limited Companies, employed people with additional income i.e. rental income, VAT returns, Payroll and CIS Returns, therefore can offer the majority of small to medium businesses a full service without the need to involve an accountant. However, I am happy to work with your accountant and provide a supporting service to help your business thrive.
