百年來世界各地天災地變迭有發生，這種人力無法抗拒的災禍，造成人民流離失所，生命財產損失無法估計。而人類心靈的惡質化，與追求功利心的日益高漲，讓人類失去了正常的思惟與正確的人生觀。人與人之間互相猜忌，爾虞我詐，造成社會上暴戾之氣日烈，致使居住的環境日益惡化，每下愈況，凡此種種無不讓人擔憂，這些現象究其原因，源自世界各地戰爭不斷，而開啟戰端的政治領袖們，或因一己之私慾或因權力鬥爭，罔顧黎民福祉，缺乏宗教家的慈悲心，致使生靈塗炭，死於戰火的靈性找不到依歸，造成因果循環，故而天災人禍不斷！
我們身為地球上的一分子，既然無法逃避此一現實，為挽救社會、國家、世界，導正觀念，特別結合有創意、有智慧、有抱負的專家學者及博、碩士研究生， 創辦了「世界領袖教育和平基金會」，這個組織最主要的目的就是要締造世界和平，這一偉大工程必須在社會各階層以及世界每一角落去發掘培育領袖人才，透過世界領袖教育和平基金會的種子領袖，以積極開創的態度，不分國界、不分種族到世界每一角落去宣揚和平地球村的觀念和實際工作，摒棄政治領袖的權力私慾，以期消弭戰爭的禍源。並弘揚宗教家佛法救世的精神，期使世界的政治領袖們都具有宗教家慈悲為懷的胸襟，各教各派的宗教家都具有政治家的智慧，如此則世界和平、地球一家的美麗藍圖將指日可待。
