World Changing Ltd. operates as a not-for-profit organisation providing pastoral care for Filipinos workers arriving into Christchurch; to help with the rebuild after the devastating 2011 earthquake. World Changing provides full support and settlement for the workers arriving; from airport meet and greet to providing accommodation and general settlement and integration into New Zealand culture. World Changing also has office and staff in the Philippines, which provide support and help for the workers wives and families. World Changing believes that keeping the ties between husband and wife and families back home, is very important, we also understand the sacrifice these workers make, in being away from their loved ones for such a long period of time. World Changing aims to give back to the workers by being involved and supporting charities and programmes back in their own country; this is all self-funded within our organisation. World Changing is a strong voice in ensuring the workers migrating to New Zealand are treated fairly and their rights are upheld. We also provide assistance in various day to day problems arising in all areas, during their stay in New Zealand. World Changing works alongside various Filipino community groups and NZ government agencies, to ensure their stay in New Zealand is a great one and things are processed accurately and efficiently. World Changing runs various Filipino events and entertainment, such as ‘The Jeepney’s Bar.
