Kleinschalig Beeldend Locatietheater Festival Worteldagen is een vierdaags festival waarin performances te zien zijn, gemaakt door studenten uit diverse theateropleidingen in Nederland. Het evenement valt altijd in het Pinksterweekend.
De performances gaan over verschillende thema's, onderwerpen of individuen. Met een keuze uit meerdere routes is er voor ieder wat wils. Onder begeleiding van enthousiaste gidsen word je al wandelend of fietsend meegenomen naar een viertal locaties.
Verspreid in het dorp Norg zijn locaties beschikbaar gesteld door bewoners en eigenaren voor een performance. Schuurtjes, parken, scholen, winkelpanden, weilanden, achtertuinen, camping en het lokale zwembad, zijn de inspiratiebron en achtergrond voor de studenten van kunstopleidingen uit heel Nederland.
Twee weken lang krijgen ze de tijd om in een intieme binnen- of buitenlocatie een eigen performance neer te zetten. Ze gaan de dialoog met de locatie aan en komen hierdoor tot een plan gebaseerd op en/of geïnspireerd door de locatie. Het resultaat duurt zeven tot tien minuten en varieert per student; van kleine, beeldende theater performances, geluidsobjecten, (video)installaties, poppen- of objecttheater, dans enzovoort.
