Youth Power Association (YPA) Uttar Pradesh is an emerging, a youth - run & led NonGovernmental Organization that supports & aims at nurturing emphatic young leaders and providing opportunities to youth to advance their skills and sharpen their personality making them more equitable, cooperative and sustainable. YPA is making efforts for the implementation of some developmental projects in the above areas with the support of the local people and District Administration. These developmental projects set a hallmark of integration, local information, substantial approach and urban resilience. Through its research, advocacy and networking system in eastern U.P., YPA has emerged as a main asset association in the above fields. YPA is actively working on the Sustainable Development Goal of Clean Water & Sanitation and leads a campaign for water conservation, “Jalandolan – Jal Hai to Kal Hai” with the support of local stakeholders, people and the young brigade. YPA has launched various other campaigns including Cancer Awareness Campaign – “Jaago”, Campus Ambassador Program – “Jal Rakshak” and Youth Development Initiative – “Smart Yuva". The YPA Theatre team has so far performed more than five hundred street plays and have enlightened the masses on AIDS, voter awareness, education, health, cancer awareness, environmental protection by the engaging plays. In YPA's various campaigns such as cultural activities, exhibitions, workshops, webinars, conferences etc. under its Smart Yuva project, we had gained a commendable reach in North India. Under Jal Hai To Kal Hai campaign, along with many programs at the school, college and university levels, the village chaupal, signature campaigns, street plays, public awareness rallies, shramdan, seminars etc. have been organized and more than 20,000 youths have participated in these events. Recognizing YPA's remarkable efforts, London-based Global Policy Insights has identified YPA as a driving force for youth development in the country.
