Younger women's task force - san francisco email format

Young Women's Task Force believes in the power of smart, strong, dedicated women who want to make a difference. There are a lot of women in the Bay Area that have important skills, networks, and capabilities, but are short on time and resources to give back. The Young Women’s Task Force was founded to give these young women an outlet to harness this power to make a substantive impact on their communities. Every 6-9 months we focus on an issue affecting women in the San Francisco Bay Area.In each of these focuses we partner with a local non-profit to provide the capabilities of our members in the way that best fits their needs. Our interaction happens on many levels - so our members can plug in as they can: Level 1: Higher time commitment and higher level of impact (ex. probono consulting project, 3hrs/week for 4 months) Level 2: Mid level time commitment, (ex. Help organize an event for our non-profits. Lend digital marketing, design, or software engineering experience, 3hrs/week for 1 month) Level 3: Low time commitment (ex. attend non-profit events, volunteer at single events with our non profit) In parallel we hold events around social issues important to our members. The meetups are a chance for out members to talk about issues, and often spur topics for our next non-profit partnerships.
