מהו מכון סאלד?
מכון הנרייטה סאלד (ע"ר) הוא מכון ציבורי ששם לו למטרה לקדם את החינוך והחברה בישראל. פעילות המכון כוללת מגוון מיזמים ומחקרים המבוצעים עבור משרדי ממשלה, רשויות מקומיות, ארגונים וקרנות בארץ ובחו"ל. המכון הוקם בשנת 1941 על ידי הנרייטה סאלד, פעילה ציונית מארצות הברית, שהקימה את ארגון "הדסה" ואת מוסדותיו, את שירותי ברווחה בארץ ואת עליית הנוער. מאז היווסדו רשם מכון סאלד לזכותו תכניות חינוכיות, מחקרים והערכות, שהטביעו את חותמם על מערכת החינוך ועל החברה בישראל.
