重塑集团具有一套成熟的研发组织结构，包括集燃料电池系统、核心零部件、工程应用开发服务三位一体的研发流程，以及一支专业化的研发团队，在燃料电池系统设计、控制、仿真、集成和安全等环节建立起了核心技术优势，并获得国家和行业的高度认可，包括荣膺由国家工业和信息化部认定的第二批国家级专精特新“小巨人”企业荣誉称号，以及2020年“中国汽车工业科学技术奖”一等奖。目前，重塑集团已开发完成32-56kW CAVEN系列和63-110kW PRISMA镜星系列两代燃料电池系统，产品在额定功率、质量功率密度、电堆额定功率密度、冷启动温度等关键技术指标层面具备突出优势，并在燃料电池电堆、DC/DC、空压机、控制器等核心零部件环节取得突破，逐步实现国产化、产业化。
重塑集团作为燃料电池技术商业化应用的践行者，始终致力于携手产业链上相关企业和机构共同推动氢能和燃料电池行业的长足发展。重塑集团子公司重塑科技是国家动力电池创新中心燃料电池分中心的依托单位，担任中国汽车动力电池产业创新联盟燃料电池分会理事长单位，并且是继长城汽车、潍柴动力、国家能源集团、中石化之后第五家加入国际氢能委员会（Hydrogen Council）的中国企业。另外，公司长期深入参与产学研合作研究，包括与同济大学、北京理工大学在内的多所高校成立联合实验室进行燃料电池的相关研究，共同加速高效的科技成果转化。
