中关村上市公司协会是由多家中关村上市公司自主发起，在北京市民政局正式注册设立的社团组织。协会于2012年8月16日正式成立，目前会员单位共140多家，其中理事会员单位28家。
协会主要职责是协助政府部门进行政策传达和实施、代表会员向相关政府机构反映意见建议、为会员企业提供专业的政策咨询服务、组织会员围绕重要议题进行交流和讨论、促进会员间的资源共享乃至合作共赢、带领会员进行集体参访以及海外路演等活动。值得一提的是，2014年5月份，协会申请成为美国证券交易委员会SEC“法庭之友”，并成为国内首家以SEC“法庭之友”身份为美国上市的中国企业申诉利益诉求的社会组织，这就为中关村在美上市公司群体与SEC等美国相关机构建立起有效的沟通机制，开启了中关村企业在美国证券市场立足的新局面。
下一步，中关村上市公司协会将继续在促进上市公司规范运作、健康发展、诚信自律；搭建上市公司和投资者、资本市场监管机构以及政府部门的交流和沟通；加强上市公司之间的资源共享和交流合作等方面发挥更大的作用。
