異象及使命宣言／唐崇榮博士
當值廿一世紀初，我們正面對著既矛盾而又隱含轉機的歷史時刻。回想在二十世紀裡，我們親眼見到承繼於十九世紀之種種主義學說、意識形態，在面對嚴酷之考驗下，一一式微而崩潰，其中包括科學實證主義、共產主義、存在主義、進化論等；所遺留下來的，乃世代間之隔膜、空虛及無定向的狀態。另一方面，我中華民族歷經浩劫，先是舊禮教的衰微，後是文化大革命對道德價值觀念的致命傷害，以及對馬、列主義和毛澤東思想盲目地迷信，雖正如大夢初醒，然而在現代化的過程中性靈之振奮根本無法趕上突飛猛起之經濟大勢，再加上民主運動的暗流，以及西方科技對知識分子之吸引與衝擊，遂形成這矛盾而又富有轉機之關鍵時刻。當此之際，我們應靠主大恩，賴主聖道，以堅忍不屈之先賢信念，以捨我其誰之獻身精神，復興神之教會，廣傳基督福音，此責任正臨到我們身上！
西方神學自啟蒙運動之後，承襲了人文主義過分自信的心態，排除形上學及啟示之地位，企圖向理性妥協；不是劃地自限，只求在心性範疇內護教自衛，就是本末倒置，只重基督之德性而輕其神性。在方法論上，又媚於歷史進化觀，無可避免地自囿於相對主義之中；此無異於出賣長子尊貴名分，步入非救贖性之死胡同內，以致在世界各類思潮之挑戰及攻擊臨到時，毫無招架之力；等到反基督教意識形態一一自顯虧欠及愚昧時，教會已奄奄一息，無力反擊。雖福音派基督徒暫表忠心，儼然形成一股不可忽視之力量及運動，可惜無法持久，在極端靈恩運動之訴諸感性的狂濤衝擊下，岌岌可危，曝露出被靈恩運動偏激而膚淺之教義所吞噬的險狀。凡此種種，廿一世紀的現在，處處曝露了基督教之無能及病入膏肓之現狀。
故此，重新奠定信仰，立足神的啟示，尋回信仰之根，復興正統神學，復興正統佈道，復興正統護教精神，恢復護教之內涵及其時代性效用，以及恢復聖道對文化之啟發、批判等功用與能力，已臨到我們肩上。上帝家之興亡，我等聖徒有責。讓我們重舉垂下的手，發酸的腿，為主的國度奮發爭戰！
