躍動菁專LEAPS初期是由一班有共同理念的香港建造業專業青年於2012年自發組成的非正式團體。當中包括園境師(‘L’andscape architects)、工程師(‘E’ngineers)、 建築師(‘A’rchitects)、城市規劃師(town‘P’lanners)及測量師(‘S’urveyors)，名字LEAPS是取自其專業界別的首個英文字母结合而成。我們旨在以專業會友及聯誼，促進專業青年之間的互動，專業發展及開拓社交網絡。
隨著躍動菁專LEAPS的發展，我們於2015年正式註冊為非牟利組織，團結香港各專業界別青年會員。透過構建更全面及多樣化的跨專業合作平臺，提高會員對社會議題及公共事務的關注和投入。利用其專業知識及創意，推動社會服務活動及為香港不同發展提供專業建議，培養建港人才成為香港新一代的專業棟樑。
Established in 2012 as an informal group of young professionals, LEAPS was established by a group of ‘L’andscape architects、 ‘E’ngineers、‘A’rchitects、town ‘P’lanners & ‘S’urveyors. LEAPS strives to promote professional growth, cross disciplinary knowledge exchange and social networking among its members.
As the group expands through its wide range of activities, LEAPS celebrates its official establishment in 2015 as a non-profit organization dedicated to the nurturing of young professionals in Hong Kong’s development sector. Through mutual learning and collaborations, our goal is to deepen our understanding of local issues and unleash young professionals' potential in substantive contribution to the society.
