I've always been interested in computing and now, I'm able to live out my passion doing what I can in any and all fields of opportunity. I'm quite fortunate to absolutely enjoy all of my work.As a result, I've accumulated 10+ years of experience in the industry as both a Software Developer and Entrepreneur, accumulating and honing my skills in all disciplines required.On the software engineering side, I've had professional experience in:* C# on Windows/.NET, my primary professional platform* Scala, which tickles my wish for programming language elegance* C on Linux, MacOS (Classic and X) and Windows, for when performance is all that mattersA good software practitioner must dabble or have working knowledge in many more areas, and I'm no exception. This includes:* Web-Based Software: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS and the like. More or less anything that comes out of the W3.* C++, for when I must.* Java, for the other half of businesses that don't use .NET.I'm very interested in any type of computing work that involves heavy use of algorithms (which includes Deep Learning, now a very popular form of implementing light AI) and business-related applications, such as those my end-users are required to use to get their jobs done. Nothing quite satisfies me like an end-user able to increase their productivity with my software.As an entrepreneur, I've learned from hard experience in how to effectively manage software teams and delivery schedules to ensure that quality is delivered on time. I believe that this skill is well-learned and only gets better through extensive experience, and is one of the other joys I experience while in the industry.
