I have been planning, designing, creating, and reviewing online courses on latest technology education for software engineers and programmers. I have also been helping the content engineers and software developers in technical and non-technical issues faced during the creation of such courses.Recently a catalog of 6 online courses was created, reviewed and launched in a short span of 6 weeks with a team of 12 members under my leadership. The team consists of content engineers, illustration designers, proofreaders and a project manager.The following 15 online courses have been completed in a year under my guidance: Medical Image Analysis using Python, SQL Essentials, From Pandas to PySpark DataFrame, Camel Design Patterns, Discrete Mathematical Algorithms and Data Structures, Learn to Code - Python, Skill Assessment - Design Patterns, Skill Assessment - Object Oriented Programming in C++, Advanced VueJS concepts, Practical SQL for Data Analysis, A Practical Guide to SQL and Database Fundamentals, Learn to Code (in C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, and Python), Mastering PostGre SQL Database, Data Storytelling: Efficient Data Visualization and Narratives, Understanding Deep Learning Application in Rare Event Prediction.

Along with teaching and supervision of grad and undergrad classes (online as well as onsite), I have worked with HOD to resolve product quality problems and provide exceptional customer service with high integrity and proven credibility. In addition, I engaged the faculty in improving their course materials and lecture delivery through pre-semester planning in alignment with the roadmap. I have supervised a number of MS Theses and BS Projects.Being the head of FYPs, I developed the standard operating procedures (SOP) and workflows for the FYP office. I also trained, supervised, and led colleagues in a cross-functional matrix. Shortlisting the best candidates and interviewing them for the services as examiners was also included in my duties. Preparing the budget and documentation for the approval and disbursement of payments to all the human resources (funding for the students, and honorarium for the supervisors and examiners) was an implicit requirement of this role. Determining and recommending the methods to address the quality improvement, funding venues, and promotion of interdisciplinary collaborative approaches were included in the job description. I proposed, designed, and established a dedicated computer lab to accommodate 50 FYP students.I also won the best teacher award during my stay at this university. Due to my extraordinary teaching material and delivery, I was especially assigned the task of teaching the new classes for the first year of their undergrad degree program, for their best learning experience in programming subjects. It also enhanced the rate of customer retention through improved quality and satisfaction of successful students.The subjects that I used to teach to BS and MS classes, on site and online, include Fundamental C++ Programming, Object Oriented Programming, Data Structures, Databases, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing.

It is a mobile application that assists its users to log their food and fitness activities, in a user friendly manner. The main engine of this app consists of Machine Learning (ML) techniques for Natural Language Understanding (NLU). I am a co-founder of this company and mainly looked after the research part.

As a member of the faculty of Computer Science at one of the largest universities of Pakistan, my job included designing and reviewing the curriculum roadmaps, teaching courses and supervising R&D projects of graduate and undergrad classes, with high integrity and credibility.During my stay, I lead the effort of calibrating and consequently redesigning/adjusting the stream of programming courses to be well-aligned with each other in terms of learning outcomes and related artifacts. I also proposed and established a lab for the research scholars in the area of Natural Language Processing (NLP). I was also awarded an indigenous research fund twice from the university.The subjects that I used to teach to BS and MS classes include C++/Java Programming, Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Structures (DS), Databases Administration (DBA), Database Management System (DBMS), Structured Query Language (SQL), Machine Learning (ML), Machine Translation (MT), Human Computer Interaction (HCI), and Natural Language Processing (NLP).The projects and theses that I have supervised include Phrase Structure Parser with Functional Features, Urdu Treebank, Urdu POS Tagger, Urdu Speech Recognizer, Diagram Narrator for Blinds, and a template based MCQ Generator.

My job description includes leading the R&D work for the software teams working on Text Cleaning, Linguistic Preprocessing, and Sentiment Analysis for the customer-care of the company. The client base of PolyVista mainly belongs to USA. The software application is used to assist the Business Analysts of the concern to draft reports for its clients.

I had to relocate from Lahore to Faisalabad in 2001, for a year. On returning to my home I rejoined PUCIT as full-time on contract basis, for teaching BS and MS level students. I worked there till start of my PhD. I taught Object Oriented Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms, and System Programming (on Linux platform).

I joined Hamdard University Faisalabad Campus (HUFC), which was a franchise campus of Hamdard University (HO: Karachi), for teaching Bachelor and Masters level courses. I taught Object Oriented Programming using C++, Data Structures using C++, Introduction to Programming using C, and Computer Graphics.

The Department of Computer Science was promoted to become Punjab University College of Information Technology in October 2000. And I was selected in the first opening of the College advertised for Contract hiring. During this period I taught Data Structures, DataBase Management Systems, and Java Programming.

I have taught courses to the Post Graduate Diploma and Master of Sciences classes, in addition to short courses. The courses I taught were Object Oriented Programming using C++, Systems Analysis and Design, DataBase Management System and Oracle8 DBA.I was also involved in devising and upgrading curriculum and roadmaps for certain degree programs, and certification courses. I also participated in establishing a computer lab through funding from PITB, to execute professional training programs. I also lead the efforts of converting the department into a college, extending its capacity from 50 students up to 200+ students, with addition of three undergrad degree programs, while proposing, designing and establishing the infrastructure and resources accordingly. I was also involved in hiring process of the full-time and visiting faculty to meet the human resource requirements of the college.
