The Mathematics/Statistics Engineer will apply extensive special operations experience including first-hand experience developing machine vision applications and operator interfaces to everyday tasks.The Mathematics/Statistics Engineer will join a team ultimately responsible for the advancement in pharmaceutical tubing production. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities• Ability to represent situations mathematically in a team setting• Develops solutions by describing requirements in a work-flow, studying system capabilities, analyzing alternative solutions, preparing system specifications, and writing programs. • Contributes to the development of re-engineering methods to improve processes, reduce risks, increase controls and/or increase customer satisfaction.• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by completing field related certifications, attending workshops, establishing professional networks, and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.• Excellent ability to understand the nature of data generated and present ideas.• Researches and troubleshoots problems within the area of expertise.

The Statistics & Production Analyst collects, analyzes, interprets, processes and presents numerical information on various project assignments and or production related data. The SPA will participate on several team projects throughout the year and act as the unbiased reporting entity. The SPA is expected to research the potential of relative data for a given situation, collect the data, reassemble the data and configure it in such a manner that it is capable of being interpreted by the team and or acted on by various departments as required to improve on the stated goal of the team. The SPA currently reports to the Sales department but may spend several hours a day working on projects with manufacturing, sales, accounting, costing, pricing and IT.
