I am a Mathematics Tutor at Tutor Me SOS, where I leverage my strong engineering background to create engaging lessons that bridge complex scientific and mathematical concepts. I graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and I have developed adaptive learning and teaching skills that enable me to customize tutoring sessions to address individual student learning styles and needs.Prior to joining Tutor Me SOS, I completed two internships at General Dynamics Electric Boat, where I delivered specialized engineering insight and analysis to various trades during the overhaul of a US Navy Nuclear Submarine. I collaborated with machine shop trades, constructed technical documents, and conducted procurement and operative requirements, using computer-aided design (CAD) tools and software. I also have experience as a Laboratory Administrator at Everpoint Health, where I provided patient support and documentation for Covid-19 testing. I am passionate about applying my engineering and mathematical knowledge to solve real-world problems and help others achieve their academic and professional goals.
