• Launched AWS Lambda system to automate the Amazon Machine Images (AMI) rehydration process for application cluster OS upgrades for Capital One’s private label credit card servicing application, running on Amazon EC2 compute power.• Programmed each Lambda function in Python, collaborating with senior engineers and an agile team of full-stack engineers to build out the technical design, systems context diagrams and implementation plan. Achieved AWS solutions architect certification.• AMI rehydration automation will save ~240 engineer hours/year and improved application resiliency and state remediation.
