April received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Financial Services with a Certificate in Personal Financial Planning and a minor in Biology from San Diego State University. She also holds the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) professional designation. In her role at HoyleCohen, April leads the Financial Planning Department to create financial analyses and projections, including tax planning, estate planning, education funding, risk management, cash flow, and retirement analysis. She supports the monitoring of clients' financial situations and works closely with clients to develop tailored strategies and foster a collaborative experience. She joined HoyleCohen with several years of prior experience in financial planning and a passion for the industry, especially for the Women & Wealth practice. April also serves as a board member for the Financial Planning Association’s San Diego NexGen chapter.Born and raised in Orange County, April moved to San Diego for college. In her free time, she enjoys tennis, pickleball, sailing and surfing. She loves to travel and fell in love with Rome while studying abroad in Italy.
