An experienced and versatile sales professional with more than three decades of knowledge working with surface products, including laminates, solid surface and paint finishes within the UK construction industry. My roles have been varied, ranging from managing all aspects of specification and field sales to various project, market, and sales support consulting roles across a variety of sectors.Following redundancy in 2023, after a short career break I opted for a complete change of career and joined the NHS, working in the Trauma & Orthopaedic Team. My role was looking after inpatients and outpatients for a hand and wrist consultant. Being an adaptable 'people person' with a lot of empathy, I thoroughly enjoyed this new venture and found it very rewarding to help patients throughout their pathway, often with very challenging situations to deal with. I have now decided to finish working full-time and am relocating to the West Country for a new life chapter.When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, walking my gorgeous black Labrador, and exploring new places. I look forward to travelling more and ticking off places from my ever expanding bucket list. I'm a keen cook and love to entertain at home, enhanced with a glass of Prosecco of course! I now hope to take up more hobbies in my spare time, including trying my hand at creative writing, songwriting and learning to play the piano.
