Built and direct the Information Security program from the ground up starting with no staff. Drafted and maintain Information Security Program roadmap, documents, policy, and procedures. Developed procedure, schedule, and method for annual risk assessments. Responsible for performing annual risk assessments that are provided to the University Cabinet and Board of Trustees. Implemented a third-party vendor risk assessment process for new and existing vendors that is performed during procurement and as part of the annual risk assessment. Evaluated, purchased, planned, and successfully led the implementation of an enterprise-wide Single Sign-on solution. Provide information security, systems, and cloud expertise as a member of the IT leadership team that is responsible for the IT master plan and its alignment with the University master plan.
