Part of a team of five consultants working for the School of Business and Management's Recruitment and Marketing team at Queen Mary University of London. The project's aim was to improve the ways in which the school presents itself to external audiences, primarily prospective postgraduate students. The project was focused on developing engaging student-led promotional content. Our role in the first part of the project was: (i) to analyse the application process from the perspective of the applicant; their priorities and concerns at the different stages in the process (ii) to discover what information is most useful and influential, as well as effective ways to reach and engage the relevant audience and which platforms are most effective to do so, and (iii) finding out key timings/stages for different groups for application to the University. The second part of the project involved creating templates and a set of guidelines for promotional content to maximize relevance and engagement across a range of media platforms, of which we concentrated on: the website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. This was informed by the findings of part one of the project, as well as results from another team analysing similar data from competitor business schools.

With Slough Music Service I covered roles including;- Individual Brass teacher and whole class First Access teacher (September 2015 - July 2017)In this role I provided one-on-one brass lessons to children across Slough Music Service's schools as well as whole class instrument and curriculum lessons as a part of the Government's First Access scheme aimed at encouraging children to take on music lessons to a higher level. This also included leading concerts with the children within their respective schools as well as larger projects with multiple schools in Slough. Instruments I taught included; Trumpet, Tenor Horn, Baritone Horn, Trombone, Guitar, Violin and Ukulele. We worked with members of the renowned Bollywood Brass Band who come into schools to provide workshops and performances with the children based around Bollywood music. I was also involved in recruiting new children which included stands at local libraries and weekend community events.- Music Centre Co-ordinator (Maternity Cover) (September 2016 – January 2017) In this role I was responsible for Managing SMS's Music Centre on a Thursday evening, including making sure children are signed up to the centre, taking registers, being First Aid Trained, taking Orchestra and Samba rehearsals and being responsible for the smooth running of the Centre.- Workshop Leader – Readipop Urban Orchestra (November 2015 – April 2017) In this role I was involved in leading workshops in schools and colleges around Reading, Slough and Berkshire to recruit children and young adults to take part in Readipop's Urban Orchestra project as well as being a leader and performer during the projects. Each project aims to bring musicians and non-musicians alike together to create brand new music composed by the young people with the help of the leaders around a specifc idea, also composed by the young people.
