I joined Arizona Sports Medicine in a full-time position—while a full-time student earning a 4.0 GPA—to deepen awareness of and immersion into the medical field. I accompanied orthopedic physicians during patient appointments, documenting patient histories, provider notes, and treatment plans quickly and with nonnegotiable levels of accuracy. Process physician orders for imaging, medical devices, and prescriptions, in addition to sourcing and providing patients with referrals to facilities and pharmacies.

I was selected by my Research Methods professor to be a TA for her Psychology 101 course after completing her research methods course with an A. During my time as a TA I worked with this professor, her graduate assistant, and the other TA's to respond to student emails, aid in testing mishaps, meet with students to review tests, and collected extra materials for the course to aid in student learning.
