As Sole/Chief Stewardess I was responsible for the interior with the assistance of a Deck/Stew on occasion. I was responsible for the entire interior, including, service, housekeeping, laundry, provisioning, inventorying and more. During this time, we had multiple guest trips with 24 hour turnovers. With my primary focus being to raise the standards and show the owner what the yacht is capable of, I have used my time off guest trips to set up interior systems and procedures to entail that the interior is kept in a high standard in addition to working closely with the captain to organise itinerary options that could impress future guests.

During my time on SY Sea Eagle II I was part of an interior team of three. As this yacht was a new build, we focused heavily on setting up the systems, standards, manuals and protocols for our department and the boat as a whole in addition to everyday upkeep of the interior. I was responsible for the maintenance and development of uniform, food and consumables inventories and assisting with the galley on a regular basis.In addition to interior, our team also was involved with deck operations including, water sports, tender launching, cleaning, sailing manoeuvres and navigation watches. During my time aboard, I also thoroughly enjoyed exploring my passion for planning events, parties, games, and cocktails for the crew.

My Duties as Chief Stewardess on M/Y Element focused primarily on charters. I was responsible for coordinating with our management to provide unique and special experiences for our guests. My team consisted of freelance stewardesses that would assist for most charters (dependent on number of guests). These charters range from family to corporate atmospheres, with dining varying from canapes to buffet, to silver service. My team was responsible for vessel preparation and set up, service, housekeeping, laundry, food preparation and presentation, and getting the boat guest ready post charter. I also assist with deck duties regularly, primarily with line handling and fenders. I was promoted to Chief Stewardess when the role became available. Since this promotion, in addition to my regular duties, I am responsible for managing stewardesses, tracking for provisioning, guest relations and organisation and the general running of the charter.
