The Carolina Financial Well-Being Center at UNC is dedicated to promoting financial literacy and supporting students in their financial journeys. The Center offers educational programs, resources, and personalized coaching to help students manage their finances effectively and achieve their financial goals.As a Peer Financial Coach, I have the opportunity to:- Coach students in one-on-one financial coaching sessions, covering credit, student loans, budgeting, financial security, and other key topics to help them achieve their personal financial goals.- Partner with the Office of Scholarships and Student Aid, the Dean of Students Office, and various student organizations to create and promote cross-campus collaboration through financial literacy programming and outreach events.- Create engaging financial literacy content and interactive activities to boost student participation and awareness, promoting a culture of financial responsibility throughout campus.

BallotReady is a civic technology engagement company dedicated to enhancing democracy through transparency and accessibility.During my time at BallotReady, I had the amazing opportunity to explore various projects, including:- Utilizing SEO analysis technologies to write high-value, informed articles for general voters to generate website traffic .- Extracting client sales data across multiple platforms to develop a portfolio for collaboration with potential customers.- Transferring and developing data collection tools on BallotReady's new internal API, promoting security and transparency.BallotReady's mission is to enable constituents across the U.S. to vote informed on every race and measure on their ballot.
