Current•Responsible for the setting of operational and/or performance goals for education and player care department which are clearly linked to the long-term goals of the Academy and the Club and encourage development of the existing operation.•Player Care lead for scholars across the Academy with responsibility for: pastoral care, career guidance, promoting/maintaining standards and both internal and external transition support.•Led on and played a key role in several improvements… Show more •Responsible for the setting of operational and/or performance goals for education and player care department which are clearly linked to the long-term goals of the Academy and the Club and encourage development of the existing operation.•Player Care lead for scholars across the Academy with responsibility for: pastoral care, career guidance, promoting/maintaining standards and both internal and external transition support.•Led on and played a key role in several improvements across the Academy including player exit framework, player support initiatives and developing an improved information system. •Sit as a senior member of the Academy Player Care Team forming excellent working relationships with staff within this department, wider-Academy staff, the Club’s Safeguarding team, players and parents and education partners.•Lead the Academy’s Education staff and provision daily to enhance performance across all areas including maximising the educational outcomes for all Academy players.
