Fabiana has over 10 years of dedicated legal practice, mainly in commercial and civil litigation, with 6 years in Brazil and 4 in Canada.She has been an Associate Lawyer at KRMC since June 2024, focusing on litigation and legal remedies for debt collection and enforcement, including mortgage defaults. Fabiana joined KRMC in 2020 as a Law Clerk, gaining valuable experience in Creditors’ Rights while working to validate her Law Diploma from Brazil. She articled at KRMC and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2024.Before moving to Canada, Fabiana worked in the Brazilian courthouse, assisting judges in civil and criminal matters. She also worked in a boutique law firm, gaining significant exposure to litigated matters that enhanced her advocacy skills. For a year, Fabiana practiced law independently in Brazil, which helped her improve her negotiation and case management skills with excellent results.Fabiana holds a GPLLM from the University of Toronto, a Program in Strategic Law from Fordham University, an LL.M. in Tax Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, and a Law Diploma from Faculdade Batista de Minas Gerais.
