As the Lead Director, I have the privilege of collaborating closely with our dedicated co-chairs, drawing on their expertise to enhance my leadership, strategic planning, and operational skills. This role has afforded me firsthand experience across our various departments (marketing, operations, external), providing a holistic understanding of event management and organizational leadership.Being part of MWC’s legacy is not just an opportunity—it’s a responsibility I embrace with enthusiasm. As a mentor, I am passionate about fostering a supportive and welcoming environment for first-year students as they navigate this pivotal stage in their academic journey. I believe mentorship is a two-way, mutually symbiotic relationship—one that allows for growth, learning, and shared success for both mentor and mentee. This rewarding experience has deepened my leadership skills and commitment to peer support.

As a Welcome Week Representative, I will aid over 900 first-years in their transition to McMaster University. This includes fostering positive and meaningful relationships, creating a welcoming environment, and supporting first-years as best as I can.

As International Student Committee Lead - alongside two peers - we aim to ease the transition for international students by providing a plethora of resources with extensive research. By amplifying student voices, we are constantly changing our approach based on feedback to best support international students. We host monthly meetings with our committee members and use their insights to spearhead our events.
