I advise on a range of corporate matters including domestic and cross-border mergers & acquisitions, private equity and venture capital. I focus on supporting high growth companies, investors and entrepreneurs and have a particular interest in the technology, consumer and life sciences sectors. I also advise US and European companies with their overseas legal affairs, including mergers & acquisitions, strategic joint ventures and with expansion into new territories. I also support US and European investors with their investments into exciting, high-growth UK companies.I have particular experience in the issues impacting owner managed businesses. I am the founder of Dhu®, a Scottish sportswear brand which pioneered the introduction of Performance Cashmere® in the sportswear industry. The business has won a number of international awards for technological innovation in textiles and design. In this role I won the Scottish EDGE Entrepreneurship Award.I am the Talent Partner for the Corporate Technology and Life Sciences team in London and also co-chair the Nordic Desk at Taylor Wessing. I have been recognised as "particularly experienced in technology transactions" (Legal 500, 2020), named in the legal directories as a "key lawyer" (Legal 500, 2025), a name "to note" for venture capital (Legal 500, 2025) as part of our Tier 1 venture capital practice, and recognised as having "expertise in cross-border M&A" specifically in the retail and consumer sector (Legal 500, 2025).
