Being a part of the SRE department of DraftKings, our Application teams are responsible for a few streams of work: - Supporting and improving the products, existing functionality, make new customizations and integrations - Delivering new company-wide applications to improve our stability and product visibility - Develop applications and tools for internal SRE use - Act as a second level of supportMy responsibility is to support those teams in the best way I can and to ensure that the output is of the highest quality. Helping the Application Managers to properly plan and design new functionalities, as well as deliver them in a timely fashion. Collaborating with external teams, PM and other stakeholders is also part of my main duties.Pushing towards self-organized agile teams, which are happily owning everything they produce is another big target for me in this role.

As part of the team that manages the services of the MSP Platform I am involved in the architecture, development and support of any new or already existing applications that provide service to internal clients.Given the domain complexity and various technologies used, one of my main goals is to help spread the knowledge within the team to the extent that there are no single points of failure. I am part of the team that builds all back-end related software for the SaaS solution we provide. Responsible for engineering and implementing various subsystems of a Content Delivery Network. These include client UI tools for display and configuration, as well as a new set of micro-services, related to the system.Worked closely with a team of system developers to better understand the requirements of the said micro-services, as well as negotiating the protocols between different parts of the project.

I've worked with different teams of server-side developers, QA and analysts to ensure that all games meet the product's requirements. As well as to adhere correctly to all mathematics and be released in a timely manner.

Worked on a several multiplayer flash games. I also was responsible for implementing the server-side of these, using Java and Smartfox server.Another responsibility was maintaining older PHP projects, or rewriting them from scratch using CodeIgniter 2.
