I am a first-year student at Dalhousie University in the Commerce Co-op program. Before arriving to Dalhousie, I had experience working with others in roles such as Lifeguard and Swim Instructor. These positions helped me learn to work with others and interact in a professional and positive way with both coworkers and the public. The Commerce Co-op program has helped make me an organized, responsible and hard-working person. It has also given me a strong introduction and bridge to the business world, which will be vital to my future success. Next year, I plan on declaring a majoring in Finance or Accounting and I am also considering a minor in Computer Science. I will also seek opportunities in the business community at Dalhousie and get involved in the Dalhousie Investing Society and Real Estate Society. After graduating from Dalhousie, I plan to gain further experience in the business world, more specifically in startup companies before starting my own business.
