▪ Responsible for provision of day to day operational support and management of the IT infrastructure; supports the 24/7/365 presence in Operations Bridge; contributes under instruction to system operations; ensures that scheduled jobs, systems/database housekeeping, and maintenance are completed.▪ Accountable for performing console operations under supervision i.e. monitoring the status of specific systems, job queues, and providing first-level intervention if appropriate.▪ Works in conjunction with the Service Desk, taking urgent Service Desk calls out-of-hours.▪ Responsible for monitoring of batch loaded into the Partnership scheduling systems, providing 1st line support and escalating where appropriate.▪ Accountable for monitoring the Partnership’s IT infrastructure, monitors performance of all Partnership websites and critical applications, and provides initial incident and event recognition. Provides 1st, and some 2nd line, support and escalates critical and major incidents to senior stakeholders.▪ Support the incident management process taking action as specified in operating procedures and as directed by operations Partners, including escalation in house, and to engage with third party support when required.▪ Provide 1st line support to users for a wide range of Partnership applications across the business.▪ Provide 1st line support outside of office hours for all Partnership service desks and branches, acting as a single point of contact.▪ Support continuous improvement within IT Operations, contribute to the build and maintenance working documentation and ensure compliance with quality management, risk management, security policies and procedures.▪ Comfortably works without supervision from Supervisor/Manager. Understands when and when not to escalate incidents.
