I train groups of 2-20 new hires for the company of CICOA Aging and In-Home Solutions. I train these individuals in the intricacies of different funding sources (ex: Medicaid Medical Waivers, CHOICE, Title III, etc), how they work in the order of funding, and how they work with other funding sources such as Medicaid and Medicare. I assist the new hires with learning their job roles and problem-solving within their roles. I create learning opportunities for continuing education for staff with CICOA Aging and In-Home Solutions

I managed 70-100 clients by contacting clients and family members monthly and assessing clients needs. I worked with the Medicaid Aged and Disabled Waiver through a person-centered approach to help clients meet their individualized goals. I monitored changes in clients needs and assisted in providing solutions. I assisted team members in learning their new roles and finding new ways to meet client needs.

I assisted students in updating and creating professional looking resumes. I connected students with resources to further their professional development and create employment opportunities. I provided excellent customer service to ensure students were comfortable and fully understood the different processes.

I worked alongside Behavioral Specialists to create plans, update functional behavior assessments, perform dementia screenings, as well as update quarterly reports. I also have created worksheets to help clients with coping skills as well as with emotion identification.

Here I maintained confidentiality regarding the structure of the company. I also developed a survey for which I got responses verbally through phone/Skype calls. I surveyed the entire global team to gain a pulse on the group after the most recent transformation. I then used this information to create a presentation for leadership, informing them on how their employees felt, what could be improved, what needed to be changed, and what should continue.
