I was a strategic leader who effectively established IT infrastructure priorities and spearheaded the completion of various initiatives in accordance with our IT roadmap.Among my accomplishments in this role, I:- Spearheaded the design, funding acquisition, procurement, and installation of Meditech Hardware compute and storage solution consisting of a 130 virtual servers EHR upgrade. Overcame challenges including lack of funding through negotiating with Cisco for 0% financing, and hardware acquisition and deployment to meet aggressive go-live deadline.- Resigned network typology including the segmentation of data canter networks by utilizing Cisco Nexus Core. Completed network refreshes pertaining to Cisco Wireless access points, LAN switches with Cisco DNA assurance, and routers.- Championed early adoption of Meditech high-availability solution to minimize service interruptions. Combination of database clustering, Meditech “swing space”, and Citrix load balancers were used to migrate processes and services between servers.
