A Passionate engineer who likes to learn more about the latest technological advancements in the field of Chemical engineering. Strong at applying the fundamental concepts studied in the applications. A keen observer and a quick learner. Enthusiastic about learning new things every day. I work as a Process Engineer at Meso Scale Diagnostics. Our team specializes in R&D Automation and Process engineering/improvements. Working with multiple R&D teams, assessing their requirements for automating their processes. I went to the State University of New York at Buffalo for Graduate school. I received a Masters degree in Chem Engineering. I focussed my curriculum based on my research interests. I am avidly interested in Protein and Bio-Engineering research. I was working with Dr. Sheldon Park in his lab, focussing on developing different mutants of Monomeric Streptavidin protein and running different assays of those mutants. Experienced in fields like Protein purification, Immobilized Metal Affinity Chromatography, Circular Dichroism, FPLC, SDS-PAGE and DNA Agarose gel electrophoresis, TEV Proteolysis, Cell Culture, Cell line Transformation, Buffer exchanging, and Ultrasonic sonication.I have authored two research papers, one as a part of my Undergraduate thesis. The work involved the purification and separation of proteins using membrane technologies that we had developed in our lab.
Listed skills include Swiss Pdb Viewer, Spectroscopy, Research And Development, Fast Protein Liquid Chromatography, and 26 others.
