Manya is an aspiring Sustainable Designer with a profound dedication to pioneering Zero-Carbon Emission and High-Performance buildings that prioritize both Environmental stewardship and human well-being. She is a First Year - Master of Science in Sustainable Design Candidate at Carnegie Mellon University, School of Architecture. Equipped with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Manipal University Jaipur, she possesses a robust academic foundation complemented by hands-on experience in the field.Her academic journey has been enriched by work in Environmental Performance Simulation, HVAC, Environmental Life Cycle Assessment, Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Urban Design Media, among others. These studies have equipped her with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to tackle complex challenges in sustainable design, ecology, energy systems and building performance modeling. During her tenure as a Design Intern at Design Forum International in Delhi, India, she played a pivotal role in a diverse range of projects spanning Commercial, Residential, and Institutional sectors. From conducting comprehensive site analyses to producing meticulous Architectural Construction Drawings, Manya demonstrated her ability to contribute effectively to every stage of the architectural process. Furthermore, her leadership roles as a former Student Council President and Student President of ASHRAE MUJ - Student Chapter attest to her ability to inspire and motivate teams towards shared goals.Additionally, she has presented at various forums, including the Architecture, Design & More Summit, where she shared insights on the technological advancements shaping the future of architecture.
