Responsibilities• Responsible for all phases of automation engineering: Control panel electrical & mechanical design, PLC & HMI programming, drafting, device specification, project commissioning, customer training, support and service. • Project engineer on over 100 successful industrial automation projects in industries including power generation/utilities, material handling, food & beverage, water/wastewater, manufacturing and marine. • Manage all aspects of projects including scheduling, trade coordination, and customer communication.• Perform testing, commissioning and troubleshooting services for systems installed across North America. • Regularly coordinate with and assist manufacturing department to ensure proper and timely project execution.Project Highlights• Led engineering and commissioning for replacing the controls of a 15 MW hydroelectric powerhouse.• Lead electrical designer and programmer for shipboard hydrographic winch system including multi-axis coordination and load sharing• Lead electrical designer and programmer for case sorting conveyor system including high-speed scanning, merging, tracking, and diverting cases to 20 lanes.
