Developed a public API for POS companies and other parties to utilize TableAgent's reservation system, created with Django and Django REST Framework.Also created an embeddable customizable reservation form using VueJS for restaurants to allow customers to book reservations using TableAgent via the restaurant's website.

Designed and developed Spottedfly, a web application created for use by Soundrunners LLC.Spottedfly allows users to easily tell whether the growth (in units of followers) of a Spotify playlist is natural or artificially inflated by follower bots. Spottedfly also provides users with information about tracks based on information gathered from Spotify's API.Spottedfly is built with Python and Javascript and is powered by the Django web framework. It uses an SQLite database to store playlist information gathered from Spotify's public API. As a student AV Technician, I regularly performed maintenance on hardware and software throughout campus and became familiar with operating Reed's complex sound and lighting systems. I also learned the skills required to trouble shoot them on the fly. I was eventually tasked with managing entire events and engagements independently.I learned to appreciate the value of attentive verbal communication, confident and comfortable body language, and maintaining optimism and confidence even in the face of adversity, and worked to incorporate these strategies into my everyday working life.

Working under a Reed Alumnus at Guidewire Software, I began developing a brand new API framework for Guidewire InsuranceSuite in order to help senior Guidewire developers become familiar with the new REST API specification.I acquired more experience with coding in Java, as well as Guidewire's in-house proprietary programming language. I also became more familiar with Git and professional communication software such as Slack and Confluence.I received positive feedback and an invitation to apply for a summer internship.
