Creating custom Webflow marketing websites for businesses across industries.

Over the course of close to two years, I was involved in 36 completed tenant improvement (TI) projects with 42 projects in various design and construction stages. My major responsibilities as a Mechanical Project EIT were as follows: ٠ Designed HVAC, plumbing, and fire suppression systems for commercial and residential projects.٠ Prepared drawings, specifications and permit documents in accordance with AHJ requirements.٠ Coordinated design with stakeholders through emails, marked-up drawings, phone calls, and meetings.٠ Issued mechanical drawings for Building Permit, Tender, and Construction.٠ Reviewed and approved shop drawings submitted for construction.٠ Conducted field reviews and trip tests to identify technical deficiencies on site.٠ Worked with trades and clients to compile documentation for project close out.٠ Trained new employee in technical design, permit application and project management.

Over the course of 21 months, I was assigned to support three different production areas as the designated machinery (rotating equipment) engineer: Ore Preparation, Extraction, and Utilities.٠ Attended daily production meetings to discuss new and existing production threats.٠ Collaborated with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute preventative maintenance (PM) work on conveyor systems, pumps, compressors, seals and fans.٠ Worked regularly in SAP to obtain equipment PM data and to input new corrective work notifications.٠ Conducted field reviews and inspection of live machinery to verify work quality and compliance to code.٠ Developed Best Work Practices for repacking pumps, inspecting pumps for rebuild and conducting annual cooling tower inspections; performed Job Hazard Analyses for each maintenance job.٠ Participated in Shell Canada’s New Professionals Network as co-volunteer coordinator and organized 2 events within the City of Fort McMurray to contribute back to the local community.

Aerodynamic Team Member (4m), Aerodynamic Team Lead (1y), Administrative Team Lead (2y):٠ Started as a general member in the Aerodynamics division making iterative improvements to ultra-fuel efficient prototype vehicles. ٠ Promoted to Aerodynamics team lead and led a team of 8 engineering students to design and prototype the exterior shell of an urban concept car. Met weekly to design and refine the shape of the shell for the best aerodynamic performance. The design and production journey took us from concepts in SolidWorks, to prototype tests in wind tunnels, to fibreglass mode production, and to carbon fibre layup. ٠ Being one of the smallest members of the team, I was selected to drive the urban concept car in the international competition. We achieved 2nd place with 577mpg in 2013, and 3rd place with 325mpg in 2014 in the Shell Eco-Marathon Americas Competition.٠ Later took on a more administrative role to support team PR efforts.
