These include Aviation Command, Marine Area Command (water police), the Dog Squad, Mounted Police, Major Events and 3 Police Transport Commands. This role reports directly to an Assistant Commissioner and provides guidance and oversight to those with Quality and Safety portfolio responsibilities within each Command.The Aviation Command remains the primary focus for this role, due to the regulated mandate for QMS. The development and establishment of QMS across PTPSC is proceeding on the basis of risk exposure. Beyond the establishment of foundational elements the Marine Area Command has been the secondary focus so far.

I transferred after a short time to Line Maintenance at the Sydney International Terminal where I achieved my CASA LAME qualifications. I remained within the international operation for 15+ years during which time I completed a number of secondment roles, including Facilitator Line Maintenance (projects and purchasing), Communicator (coordination role) and various trainer roles. I also had significant involvement in OHS both serving on and Chairing the International Terminal Safety Committee.In 2011, I took an opportunity to transfer to Line Maintenance Sydney Domestic Terminal where I continued to be active in OHS.
