Shreya Sen Email and Phone Number
Hello! I'm Shreya Sen, currently pursuing my MSc in Architecture at TU Delft in the Netherlands. I completed my Bachelor's in Architecture with Cum Laude and Honours at TU Delft, and during my undergraduate years, I had the incredible opportunity to engage in student exchange courses at ETH Zurich.Proficient in six languages, including Norwegian, Dutch, and English, which is my working language, I have a passion for languages and their role in bridging cultural gaps.My academic journey has taken an exciting turn as I am currently pursuing Honours in Robotics through a collaborative program between TU Delft and ETH Zurich. This interdisciplinary endeavor allows me to explore innovative solutions at the intersection of architecture and robotics.A highlight of my current endeavors includes leading a student research team dedicated to finding sustainable solutions for CO2 storage and transport from small emitters. This project aligns with my commitment to contributing to environmentally conscious practices and addressing contemporary challenges.I am enthusiastic about the intersection of architecture, robotics, and environmental sustainability, and I look forward to the continued exploration of innovative solutions in these fields.

Student Joint Interdisciplinary ProjectCroonwolter&Dros Sep 2024 - Nov 2024NetherlandsKLM’s buildings at Schiphol-Oost face significant energy demands due to their size and intensive use. To tackle these challenges, a team of six interdisciplinary students—comprising architects, multi-machine engineers, and sustainable energy engineers—collaborated to explore and implement solutions within the existing electrical infrastructure. The project focused on enhancing technologies such as solar panels, heat pumps, and energy management systems, aiming to improve system efficiency and contribute to KLM’s Safety Investigation Risk Analysis and future sustainability goals. The team conducted on-site testing and worked closely with stakeholders from CW&D, 4AMS, KLM, and Schiphol.Key learnings: -Conducting a detailed analysis of current energy consumption data to identify peaks and inefficiencies.-Developing simulation models to test various scenarios and evaluate the impact of different solutions-Designing advanced control algorithms for balancing energy supply and demand, incorporating battery storage and HVAC systems. -Maximizing solar energy utilization through strategic deployment and management of solar panels.-Facilitating energy exchange between buildings and systems to enhance efficiency and manage peak loads. -
