As part of my studies at Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, I had the opportunity to achieve a 6-month internship in the Food Division of M.H. Alshaya in Kuwait. In this 40,000 employee company, I was involved in project management positions to support the development of the home delivery activities as well as the launch of the catering division. • Prepared a business case for the internationalization of the food delivery activities in the GCC countries. Performed market research, analysed and monitored local competitors, recommended suitable brands of the Alshaya Portfolio, as well as evaluated potential cities for the implementation. • Assisted in the creation of a new catering service comprising of several international food brands including Starbucks, Dean & Deluca, Pinkberry and Katsuya. Designed service processes and successfully created Standard Operating Procedures for a launch in Kuwait and in the United Arab Emirates. • Participated in the development of a food delivery mobile app, offering 6 different brands across 2 countries. Ensured proper integration of content into the app, took part in the creation of the interactive user interface, mapped customer journey experience.
