I led the execution of sourcing projects to support business partners in multiple departments, partnering to create and implement procurement strategies and manage the vendor selection process. While in this position, I developed, implemented, and enhanced global procurement strategies, employing systems to provide leadership, direction, and focus for direct and indirect large commodity streams. I identified risk to supply and devised mitigation strategies, tracked and managed supplier performance, expedited resolutions to issues, and negotiated complex contracts for non-standard purchases.In this role, I: • Optimized procedures supporting Global eSourcing to yield significant savings, improve visibility and product detail for suppliers and internal clients, enhance product quality, and reduce sourcing process times by 258. • Instituted Auction in partnership with key stakeholders to leverage English, Reverse, Japanese, Dutch, and Sealed Bid auctions to eliminate the need for protracted negotiation in specific situations. • Initiated programs with hotels, airlines, and other travel suppliers to reduce travel spend, and created a global platform to generate cost efficiencies in frequently used, major markets.
