I love using analytics to identify problems and solve them. I believe analytics are a powerful tool because they give us the ability to make an impact and help others. By delving into a set of data and drawing out insights, we can make change to improve our communities. I am looking for an opportunity to work in an analytical role and I believe that the classes I have taken at Xavier have given me the skills to make an impact. While I do not have much professional work experience to boast about, I believe that the projects I have completed using real world data have prepared me well. In projects I have practiced skills such as creating interactive dashboards, cleaning and transforming real world data, and performing linear regression analysis. In addition to these skills, I’m very coachable and willing to learn about new fields.Here are a few things I believe I can bring to the table:I can I lead a group of people. -I was president of the Xavier Rugby Club and led us to being ranked #15 in the nation in the fall of 2022. -I won the 2022 NCR Student Leader of the Month in September for doubling team participation. https://www.ncr.rugby/2022-student-leaders-of-the-month -I understand that different people respond to different methods of leadership.I rise to the top in fields I am passionate about. -3.9 GPA at Xavier and I earned Dean’s list every semester. -I won the Craig Menderson Economics award at Xavier for my efforts in the classroom. -Once I put my mind to a project, I work endlessly to make sure it gets done right.I am responsible and believe in integrity. -I managed the rugby club’s budget and day to day operations, and it was my responsibility to spend our budget wisely and in the interests of the club. -I was Vice President of the Xavier chapter of Alpha Sigma Nu, a club with is based on loyalty, scholarship, and service. -I believe that analytics should be used to help others so having integrity especially in relation to data transparency and data privacy is important to me.I believe that given an opportunity I can be a great addition to any team due to my leadership, perseverance, and coachability.
