I am currently a Software Engineering & Management Co-op student at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. I am interested in a career related to game development. I am actively seeking a co-op job opportunity for May to August 2024. Please feel free to reach out.I have been interested in computers and video games ever since I was a kid in elementary school. In high school I took three classes that introduced me to coding in the forms of block coding, Python and Java. In my first three years at McMaster, I have deepened my knowledge of Python, Java, C, Go and general computing techniques and aspects. I hope to continue to learn more about software and game development.From 2019 to 2022 I volunteered as a moderator on the social media app Amino. In this time I gained leadership and management skills that I would like to take with me to my career.This past year in 2023, and continually today, I have spent a lot of time working on personal projects involving the creation of cheat codes and mods for a video game I spend a lot of time playing. These cheats and mods are made from scratch, requiring reverse-engineering, assembly knowledge, and problem-solving skills. The end result are new features that I share with people online for free for them to install and let them get more enjoyment out of the game. These projects mean a lot to me and I would be ever grateful for the chance to take the skills I have learned from these projects as well as my education to the workplace.
