In order to serve teachers, we have to understand teachers. Therefore, I spent one semester working as a full-time relief teacher. One term at a primary school and another term at a secondary school, taking on similar teaching workload as a regular teacher.My tenure was an eye opener and gave me greater empathy over the difficulties teachers face on the ground. Those ground experiences then informed our design of the automated marker at GETMARKED.
