Develops and implements youth & aquatic programming activities for the DCC membership, including the Dolphins Den (hourly childcare).Evaluates programs and adjusts to ensure goals and objectives are being met.Complies with the Club’s standards, policies and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations. Develops, plans, monitors and supervises summer camp activities, youth-related special events and aquatic programs.Markets Youth & Aquatic events and programs to the membership while serving as main point of contact for participantsResponsible for the development, implementation, and day-to-day management of the Dolphins Den Hourly Childcare operations; ensuring safety and innovationDevelops and controls youth and aquatics department budget ensuring that all assigned budget departments meet year-end outcomeRegularly attends, participates in and supports training and staff meetings for Youth & Aquatics and committee meetingsHire, trains, and supervises Youth and Aquatic staff team. monitors staff performance, prepares and modifies work schedules, conducts employee evaluations, provides professional development, monitors adherence to company policies and procedures.Utilizes NorthStar with skill and proficiency and handles sales transactions.Supervises a safe, clean and appealing club Aquatic facilitiesOversees the club Swim & Dive team, including hiring of all coaches, practices, home and away meets.Collects and maintains all records concerning pool attendance, pool chemicals, accident reports, problem-member reports, lifeguard and instructor schedules, time cards, etc.Manages staffing & operations for all swim lessons, master swim, and water aerobicsApproves and signs off on weekly payrollHolds the following active certifications: First Aid/CPR, Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguard and Certified Pool Operator.Performs other duties as assigned.
