- Architected a pure-python module that creates various system-level diagnostic plots from data gathered during aircraft operations.- Created and extended a command line tool that functions as a Swiss Army knife for working with NCAR's Radiosonde data streams. - Oversaw and implemented highly integrated test set for validating in-house produced radiosonde instrumentation.

Created coherent documentation package aimed at electronic contract manufacturers to be used in a US Government bid process.- Designed and implemented a 3U swappable circuit card that translated RS232 level serial to TCP Sockets. - Designed a 3U chassis that used a flexible network topology for communication rather than traditional RS232 ports. - Constructed and updated a stand alone application that exposed all functionality of NCAR's automated launcher electromechanical subassemblies as a simplified push button interface.- After inheriting remote-balloon borne insitu instrument, I became the system expert and through thorough and tedious testing matured the instrument to a successful, deployable package.- Created a low level (working with bits) ANSI C++ library that extracts data from dropsonde data streams.- Created a Qt based GUI application that decodes raw radiosonde data and acts as an advanced front end. It is capable of reading data from files, sockets, or serial ports, presents a selectable list of data parameters, and can save data to a SQL database, CSV file, or perform a binary capture.- Used python to glue together an antenna rotator and a RF spectrum analyzer into a rudimentary outdoor antenna range.
