As a Junior Geologist at DAL Mining, I apply my extensive knowledge of mineral exploration methods and procedures to deliver optimum results. I work with a team of experienced geologists and technicians to conduct sampling and logging of RC drilling and trenches.I graduated from Bahri University with a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Geology and Minerals, Mineral Resources, where I gained a solid foundation in geology, mineralogy, geochemistry, geophysics, and GIS. I also participated in several field trips and projects that enhanced my practical skills and exposed me to different geological environments and settings. I am passionate about geology and eager to learn from the best in the industry. I am motivated by the challenge and opportunity to contribute to the discovery and development of mineral resources.

  Responsibilities:• Geological Mapping:Conduct detailed geological mapping to identify and delineate geological structures, and potential mineralization zones.• Rock Sampling:Employ various techniques (such as channel sampling, grab sampling, and systematic grid sampling) to collect representative rock samples for geochemical analysis.Ensure samples are collected following industry standards and protocols to maintain data integrity.• Trenching:Supervise excavation activities to ensure accurate mapping and sampling of trench walls.Document geological observations and interpretations made during trenching, noting lithological descriptions, structural features, and any visible mineralization.Use appropriate sampling techniques to ensure samples are collected at regular intervals and from key lithological units or alteration zones identified in the trench.• RC Rig Geologist:Manage Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling operations, including preparing drilling platforms and overseeing rig setup.Monitor drilling progress and geological conditions to optimize sample recovery and data collection.Conduct detailed logging of RC drill samples, describing lithological characteristics, alteration zones, and mineralization.• Team Collaboration:work closely with senior geologists, exploration geologists, field technicians, and other team members to achieve exploration objectives and contribute to the overall success of exploration projects.
