I graduated with a double bachelor degree in biotechnology and Chemical Engineering at National Cheng Kung University in 2023. Despite I am lack of prior working experience, I had obtained almost 184 credits and completed two research topics during my four-year university life. All of above enable me to cultivate well personal learning habits and qualities.🐾Summer internship in IBC, Academia SinicaDuring the summer vacation when I was junior student, I accomplished summer internship at Dr.Rita’s lab in Academia Sinica IBC, Taipei. My research topic is redesign and applications of antimicrobial peptide. In this short-term research, I learn how to run the experiment on my own as well as equip myself with ability to present the seminar and progress reports with full English. Finally, I felt a great sense of achievement when I was selected for an oral presentation at the concluding poster exhibition due to my excellent performance.☘️Research student in Dr. Chang’s LabI also join the Dr. Chang’s biointerface engineering lab as a research student at department of chemical engineering in NCKU. My topic is Effect of pH on Characteristics of Negatively Charged Catanionic Vesicles Fabricated from a Mixed Asymmetric-chained Ion Pair Amphiphile/Lauric Acid System. We use forced process to form vesicles which compose of special materials, aiming to analyze size distribution, zeta potential and stability by DLS. There are quite a great deal of attention to detail and analytical judgment to achieve reproducibility.🧗PersonalityIn terms of personality, I’m someone who is adventurous and willing to try new things, but I also have a little bit of perfectionism. While this might be a minor drawback in daily life, it allows me to focus on small deviations and details in my work. I strive to excel in my responsibilities and derive satisfaction from achieving them well. Because of this trait, I’m adept at preparing in advance, researching thoroughly, and anticipating potential obstacles, using my abilities to overcome them effectively.
