Work in the Computer Vision industry to help design algorithms for use in building 3-D maps from a simple, single camera feed. The objective is to allow the use of a single camera mounted on the front of a car in order to map the 3-D structure of the world around it. It's main application will be for use with autonomous vehicles and driver assistance systems.My work mainly pertains to learning the details of Simultaneous Localization and Mapping and it's use with Autonomous Vehicles. I then use this knowledge to help decide which algorithms to use in our c++ program and to hep debug possible problems that may arise.
