CAD Supervisor• Managing a 7-person team including hiring, training, individual goal setting and annual reviews. • Responsible for assessing overall team strengths and weaknesses and developing training plans for overall team development.• Coordinate CAD resources for Project Managers to provide 3D modeling, engineering drawings, FEA Analyses, renderings, and other Product Development functions. • Responsible for managing team budgets.• Continually updating CAD development process, CAD Modeling standards, and Engineering Drawing standards.• Responsible for the creation of 3D and 2D CAD data utilizing advanced Pro/Engineer techniques.• Responsible for verifying accuracy and signing off on all work performed by the CAD team.• Collaborate with Industrial Design firms in North America and Europe while combining critical product aesthetics, with creative engineering solutions.• Constantly research new materials and manufacturing methods and incorporate them into project whenever applicable.Wildfire & PDM/Link Administrator• Working with IT to ensure that all upgrades and installations are implemented smoothly.• Responsible for licensing, upgrades, and maintenance contracts for Pro/Engineer Wildfire, Windchill PDM/Link, and FEA software.• Serving as a Pro/Engineer & PDM/Link “super user” solving end-user problems and software related questions.• Responsible for the successful enterprise wide implementation and upkeep of PDM/Link (Product Data Management system). Including custom workflows and life cycles as well as the change management (ECN) process.• Responsible for all administration related to Pro/Engineer Wildfire.• Responsible for all administration related to PDM/Link on a business as well as a site level.
